The Dongincheon-dong Community Social Security Council (civilian chairperson Jin Dae-young) under Jemulpo-gu District (Mayor Kim Chan-jin) in Incheon directly prepared and delivered groceries to look after the tables of struggling neighbors. The council said on the 25th that it carried out the 'Sharing Warmth, Filling Happiness' grocery package support project for low-income households.

The project was designed to help households that have difficulty maintaining a healthy daily life and getting adequate nutrition, with about 50 low-income households in welfare blind spots selected as beneficiaries.
In keeping with the project's purpose, council members carefully selected sought-after groceries, packed them into thoughtfully prepared packages, and personally visited the recipient households to deliver them.
One recipient said, "I was very disappointed to hear I couldn't use the food market, so I'm truly grateful and reassured that you took care of me like this."
Civilian chairperson Jin Dae-young said, "We will work to ensure that this small gesture of care comes together to fill our neighbors' hearts with warmth and serves as an opportunity to build a Dongincheon-dong where people live together warmly."
Yoon Kang-mi, head of Dongincheon-dong, said, "We will carefully look out for welfare blind spots so that struggling neighbors are not left out, and actively push forward customized welfare services that residents can genuinely feel the benefits of."
This support project is an example of the private and public sectors working together to seek out welfare blind spots in the community, and Dongincheon-dong plans to continue supporting vulnerable groups through regular sharing activities going forward.
