Yeongjong-gu District (Mayor Son Hwa-jeong) in Incheon announced on the 17th that it has set up a new integrated menu called 'Yeongjong Safe 24' on the district office website (www.yeongjong.go.kr), bringing together previously scattered channels ranging from safety hazard reports to daily inconvenience complaints and telephone consultations. The access structure was reorganized so that residents can find and immediately use the reporting or consultation route suited to their situation from a single menu.

Until now, consultation and reporting functions related to civil complaints had been divided across multiple locations, drawing criticism that residents had difficulty finding the channel they needed. The district consolidated these functions into a dedicated menu named 'Yeongjong Safe 24' and structured it to connect users directly to the appropriate service according to the type of report or consultation.
The new menu is organized so that a range of civil complaint and safety services — hazard and safety reports, daily inconveniences, administrative complaints, telephone consultations, nighttime and holiday emergencies, and in-person consultations — can be viewed and accessed on a single screen. Clicking a submenu within the 'Yeongjong Safe 24' page takes users directly to the system responsible for that function.
Connection routes are divided by type. Hazard and safety reports lead to the 'Safety Report Center,' while daily inconveniences and administrative complaints are routed to 'e-People.' Telephone inquiries are handled by the '120 Incheon Call Center,' and emergencies occurring at night or on holidays are connected to the 'district office duty room (032-760-7112).'
Residents who wish to visit the district office in person for consultation can use the 'Rapid Integrated Consultation Desk' menu, and the processing status of submitted complaints can be checked under 'Civil Complaint Processing Disclosure (Saeol Electronic Civil Service Desk).' Reports of corruption and similar matters are filed through the 'Integrity Center·K-Whistle' menu.
As a result, residents no longer need to deliberate over which channel to use when a complaint or reason to file a report arises. According to the district, residents can now select the service that fits their situation from the single 'Yeongjong Safe 24' menu and use it quickly.
The creation of the menu is in line with the campaign pledges of Mayor Son Hwa-jeong of the ninth popularly elected administration, which called for 'community-oriented safety' that residents can experience anytime, anywhere, 24 hours a day, and the 'establishment and operation of a practical administrative network.' The district expects the measure to help the newly established autonomous district's early administrative system take root stably while also serving as an example of resident-centered administrative innovation.
Yeongjong-gu Mayor Son Hwa-jeong said, "There needed to be a channel residents could turn to first when they felt inconvenience or danger in their daily lives." The mayor added, "Through Yeongjong Safe 24, we will enable residents to use the reporting and consultation services they need easily and quickly around the clock, and we will build convenient civil services that residents can genuinely feel."
The district plans to continue improving administrative services that enhance resident convenience, building on its existing civil complaint and safety response system.
