The 2026 Global Artists Festival, a cultural celebration bringing together artists from Korea and around the world, will take place from September 12 to 13 at the Open Stage of Seoul Children’s Grand Park.
Organized and hosted by the Global Artists Association with support from the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the festival is designed to create a platform where people from different cultures and generations can meet, communicate, and connect through music and the performing arts.
More than simply a series of performances, the festival aims to promote mutual understanding among people from diverse cultural backgrounds and provide an open cultural space where artists and citizens can experience the arts together.
With the event taking place at the Open Stage of Seoul Children’s Grand Park, not only professional artists but also families and other visitors to the park will have an opportunity to experience performances in an accessible public setting. The festival is also significant in that it brings the arts beyond conventional performance venues and closer to people’s everyday lives.
Culture and the arts have the power to connect people across linguistic, national, and generational boundaries. Music, dance, and other performing arts, in particular, can communicate emotions without requiring a common spoken language, making them important mediums for international cultural exchange.
The 2026 Global Artists Festival is expected to provide artists with an opportunity to showcase their talent and artistic vision while giving citizens a chance to experience a variety of artistic performances in one place.
The event is also expected to encourage exchanges among Korean and international artists, potentially leading to new collaborations and cultural networks. If connections made at the festival develop into future performances, cultural exchanges, and international artistic activities, the event could grow beyond a one-time celebration and become a foundation for sustainable artistic exchange.
The 2026 Global Artists Festival will be held on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, at the Open Stage of Seoul Children’s Grand Park. The festival is organized and hosted by the Global Artists Association and supported by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
This weekend, artists and citizens will come together in Seoul through the universal language of art, crossing national and generational boundaries. Attention now turns to the connections and inspiration the 2026 Global Artists Festival will create through this shared cultural experience.
