Incheon's Yeonsu-gu District (Mayor Lee Jae-ho) visited the Incheon Yeonsu Regional Self-Sufficiency Center on the 13th after its relocation and expansion to the fourth floor of the Topian Building, inspecting the new facility and encouraging staff on site.

The visit came after the center moved out of its previously cramped space in Cheonghak-dong into a more comfortable environment. Mayor Lee Jae-ho toured various parts of the newly furnished facility, including the professional counseling rooms and training areas, closely checking whether the spaces would be convenient for participants and staff to actually use.
In the process of expanding and renovating the facility, the district used self-sufficiency funds to carry out flooring and wall construction and space partitioning work. Following this renovation, the center began operating out of the new space and providing self-sufficiency services from June 15.
The Incheon Yeonsu Regional Self-Sufficiency Center currently provides services such as certification acquisition support and psychological and emotional support to some 340 self-sufficiency program participants. The district explained that this support is helping participants achieve successful self-sufficiency and independence.
Yeonsu-gu Mayor Lee Jae-ho said, "I ask that you take pride as self-sufficiency experts in this new space and work actively to help self-sufficiency participants realize their dreams of independence in Yeonsu-gu and move off welfare assistance."
The expansion and relocation is expected to further improve counseling and educational conditions for residents using the self-sufficiency center. Observers say the move is significant in that a key facility supporting the independence of low-income and vulnerable residents in the area now has a better environment.
