The program, the first of its kind implemented in Incheon, provides 100,000 won annually per teenager. The second-half installment of 50,000 won being distributed this time will be provided in the form of a "Jemulpo-gu Youth Education Voucher Dedicated Card."

The program is available to teenagers aged 13 to 18 who have maintained resident registration in Jemulpo-gu for at least one year. There is no separate advance application process; recipients or their guardians simply need to visit the community service center overseeing their registered address to receive the card.

The issued voucher can be used at some 170 businesses related to education and career development that are registered as Jemulpo e-eum affiliated stores, including bookstores, stationery shops, study cafes, optical shops, and arts and physical education academies.

The district expects the program to serve as a practical support measure that helps teenagers access diverse educational opportunities regardless of their family's financial circumstances.

Mayor Kim Chan-jin said, "I hope this support will serve as a foundation for teenagers to pursue their dreams to the fullest," adding, "We will continue to provide generous support for the new leaps and future of our young people."
