The Agricultural Technology Center of Incheon Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Chan-dae) is recruiting participants for its urban agriculture field experience program for the second half of 2026. The program will run for a total of 10 sessions from Sept. 23 to Oct. 21, with applications accepted on a first-come, first-served basis starting Sept. 9.

The Agricultural Technology Center of Incheon Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Chan-dae) announced that it is recruiting Incheon residents to take part in its second-half 2026 field experience program. However, residents of Ganghwa-gun and Ongjin-gun are excluded from this round of recruitment.
The program is designed to let citizens experience urban agriculture firsthand and receive on-site explanations of related facilities. The training will take place over a total of 10 sessions from Sept. 23 to Oct. 21.
The program is open to any Incheon resident, with applications accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for about 10 individuals or 15 people per group per session. Applications can be submitted starting Sept. 9. Individuals may apply through the online integrated reservation system on the Incheon Agricultural Technology Center website, while groups may apply by e-mail.
Urban agriculture refers to activities such as growing crops and engaging with agricultural facilities within the city, and it has recently drawn growing interest as a lifestyle hobby that combines leisure with health management. This program is seen as lowering the barrier to participation by offering citizens such experiences at little to no cost.
Lee Hee-jung, director of the Incheon Agricultural Technology Center, said, ‘Through field experience training, we will strive to help citizens restore their physical and mental health and provide them with opportunities to enjoy productive hobbies.’
